Scott Jefferson

Scott Jefferson is the newest member of the Clarke & Sampson team but is by no means unfamiliar with the company. Scott served as an intern at Clarke & Sampson in 2008 while he completed his college studies. He attended Hampden-Sydney College then went on to complete his graduate studies in business management and marketing at the University of Virginia. Upon completetion of graduate school, Scott returned to Clarke & Sampson and has served as a independent insurance agent in Virginia, DC, Maryland, North Carolina, and West Virginia.

Education and work go hand-in-hand to Scott. As a child, this quote by Thomas Jefferson adorned the wall of his room: “Practice of the purest virtue will derive the most sublime comforts.” His dedication to learning, service, and integrity made joining the Clarke & Sampson team a natural fit.

“The prospect of helping our clients to live and operate more confidently in life and business is very appealing to me,” he says. “And I am honored to be able to work with the wonderful people at Clarke & Sampson.”

When not working, Scott enjoys anything and everything outdoors including fly-fishing, hiking, camping, and traveling.
