Core Offerings

Client Centered

We take pride in insuring historic homes. In fact, we've been insuring historic homes for more than 70 years. It's the backbone of our private client unit. As a testament to our interest and appreciation in historic homes, our Alexandria office is located in a stately row home constructed in 1818.

Whether you live in a federal style townhome or a 200 year old colonial, it's probably the charm, elegance, and history of the home that you fell in love with. Your home may also have a special place in your heart because, frankly, they just don't make homes like they used to.

In the event of a loss, how would you want your home to be restored? If a simple and cheap restoration is your preference, then a standard homeowners policy may be right for you. However, if you prefer that your hand carved wood beams not be replaced with engineered composite, you may want to consider insuring your home with an agent that has the coverage, knowledge, and resources to restore a historic home.
